Did you miss me?!

I took a quickie trip up to Seattle over the weekend that was wonderful and just what I needed to banish my stress and forget about my various but generally few woes. I made pilgrimages to a few of the spots I visited last time. (And only just now reread the blog posts from that era. My blog is now officially long-lived enough that I'm beginning to find the older writing embarrassing.)

I didn't go back to R Place, although I did... well...

No no, not that. That's just from my second pass at the Underground tour. And caught a day of Bumbershoot with Sir James, who turned out to be the standing uppingest chap I've met in some time. We managed to get a decent spot to see Zero 7 perform, whose lead singer I have since learned is Sia Furler whose other albums I've also greatly enjoyed. I managed to squeeze off a few passable photos from far away in the near dark, which is no small feat.

And there was, naturally, another obligatory Space Needle photo. Although I dare say that this one is an improvement over the last.
