By the way, if any of you enjoy Korean food as much as I do, here's how I "Koreanify" my instant ramen (as seen above):
- add one teaspoon ginger puree
- add one teaspoon garlic puree
- add a dash of sesame oil
- add a dash of fish sauce (this can be obtained in the Asian section most supermarkets)
- add seasoning pack included with ramen
- add 2-3 tablespoons of powered chili (according to taste)
- boil ramen noodles with the above
- chop green onions and lay them on top (after done cooking)
This turns an extremely boring ramen meal into something pretty savory. I love everything spicy, so I really lay on the chili powder. If you want to make it even heartier, add some cubes of tofu and/or enoki mushrooms to the mix.
