Thai Sticky Rice

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear

  2. Submerge the rice in water and soak for at least 30 minutes

  3. Drain the rice and add back in 1.5 cups of water. Cover the bowl with either a lid or plastic wrap (with a hole to vent steam if so)

  4. Microwave on high power for 5 minutes, then stir the rice

  5. Microwave on medium power for 10 more minutes, then allow the rice to rest for at least 5 minutes
